By using SDL logging, we can rely on SDL to filter the log messages by
their priority before they get sent to our custom output function. For
example, we now no longer get entries for created and destroyed Window
instances by default, since these have only "debug" priority whereas the
default priority for the "app" category is "info".
We can also get log messages raised by SDL itself in our log now. Log
levels can be controlled per category through the "SDL_LOGGING"
environment variable.
Many existing log messages have been assigned a category based on their
existing prefix.

Sometimes I've used CamelCase and sometimes SNAKE_CASE for these values.
Since "enum class" values are always prefixed with the enum name, which
uses CamelCase, I find it more fitting to use it for the values as well.
Also fixes compilation on Windows where 'ERROR' was conflicting with a
define.

* Removed some unused includes and forward declarations.
* Use std::unique_ptr to automate cleanup.
* Use TextRenderer::renderText in BrowserBox to avoid code duplication.
* Removed unused STATE_NORMAL from StateFlags.
* Small layout fix in ServerDialog.
* Reduced rewrapping delay in BrowserBox to 33ms and disabled it
entirely when there are no more than 1000 lines to rewrap. The
rewrapping is usually fast enough.

This change fixes hair style to take into account "race", which makes
the faces visible again. Hair colors should also be fixed now, with
partial support for itemcolors.xml added.
The Mana client now also supports per-character gender, and it now hides
the hair style and color buttons on character creation, when there are
none to choose from.

Usually this would be guessed correctly by the port, but now it is also
possible to just specify the server type and the port will be derived
from there, unless a default port is given in the branding file.

* Use default member initializers
* Use range-based loops
* Don't use 'else' after 'return'
* Removed some unused includes
* Construct empty strings with std::string() instead of ""
* Clear strings with .clear() instead of assigning ""
* Check whether strings are empty with .empty() instead of comparing to ""
* Removed redundant initializations

This was already done by ManaPlus. It's a good idea anyway and it makes
comparing the code a little easier.

Much code was moved from main() to the new Client::exec(). This new
event loop now integrates with the Game class, so that the tick counter
and framerate limiter apply universally.
The Client class is also responsible for some things that used to be
global variables.

LoginHandler now owns the world list and the token, instead of having
them as global variables with pointers to the 'sex' member of the token
from the GUI.
|
|
This "optional action" specifies whether the server expects to get an
email address during registration. It is used now instead of having the
general handlers of eAthena and tmwserv set a pointer to an email
string on the GUI dialogs (to keep things understandable, the dependency
should preferably go one way).

Also do some cleanup and refactoring of related code.

* Merged a few split strings
* Fixed some spellings and wordings
* Turned a couple of std::cout and std::cerr into logger messages

We don't use underscores in the filenames generally, and let's be
consistent on that matter.

Abstracts it away and out of main.cpp and register.cpp.

Now you can register new accounts on tmwserv again. The email field
apparently gots lost during the merge somewhere.

In an attempt to make the GUI code a little more structured, basic
widgets are now put in gui/widgets. Many includes were also cleaned up.

This merge involved major changes on both sides, and as such took
several weeks. Lots of things are expected to be broken now, however, we
now have a single code base to improve and extend, which can be compiled
to support either eAthena or tmwserv.
In the coming months, the plan is to work towards a client that supports
both eAthena and tmwserv, without needing to be recompiled.

the palette colors. While technically, this can be accomplished through
other means, it's rather clumsy overall, and is prone to introducing in
programmer errors.
This commit finally catches every case where text is used, and applies
the text color from the color dialog to each of them appropriately.

The string utility methods are now grouped together in the stringutils.h
header. Also, a toLower method was added for convenience.

include anything not needed by that specific widget or window. This
appears to have cleaned up system performance a bit on my current setup,
where it went from idling on 45% in game with opengl down to 30% now.
Also moved iptostring to the tostring header, as importing all of
network.h is a little overkill to use that function, and it goes along
with the basic functions that are in that header file anyways. TODO:
find out a way to get rid of warnings when a class doesn't use this
function.

This dates back to the old days of TMW, but the usage instructions of
GPLv2 don't mention this being necessary. Since it doesn't add anything,
avoid the branding in these sections.

WARNING!!! This, and all other previous builds have a linker error for
the Gnome libraries version 4.3.2 on my setup. It's assumed that this is
also the case for other users of this library as well. I'm currently
assuming that there's a bug in the compiler itself, and will look into
reporting this, but in the mean time, it doesn't build for these users,
unfortunately. Sorry about this.
