I think the attack FX will be quite annoying :<
|
|
The main and most annoying attack is poison; otherwise it is quite weak.
More vulnerable to magic than slashing. Drops the following three items:
Acorn, 11.00%
Snapples, 5.00%
Gumi Candy, 0.11%

Give +10% WLK SPEED to Banshee Bow and lower further the HP drain.
It is more average and without critical, bansheers lose their edge versus warriors.
|
|
Banshee Bow: Remove critical bonus entirely. Damage is now 140 out of 170.
Remember, criticals bypass defense. This breaks PvP. Needs testing.
Sorry, I got carried away. Nothing new for mages, at least for a while.
PS. At 120 damage, Sand Cutter draws with old banshee.
At 101 it'll draw with new Banshee.

|
And I did a lot of nerfs in past. So I'm buffing it, to nerf it again.
Final [Banshee Bow] Damage +15, HP Penalty -25%, Crit -50%.
(Source: The Manual about balance on TMWT forums say: In case of doubt, make it op. Then nerf often, nerf always.)

EVER AGAIN.
Mana Guardian: Lower luck. Now it can receive critical hits.
If it was working well previously then MAYBE bansheers will not notice a difference
while fighting them (but it will be DRAMATIC vs everything else).
It is impossible to have a decent gameplay if Banshee Bow + Terranite Arrow
nears 100% critical. I re-read battle.cpp code - I went though japanese comments
- to make this patch.

+750 EXP -6 DEF
This should make them easier versus melee

Add assassin set as a brawnling set to good ol' Iilia.
Now Luvia collected an useless unique gear!
Your chances to get the Heart Of Isis just went down from 25% to 20%!
Who'll be the first unlucky player to obtain the Assassin Shirt?!
PS. Cannot be equipped with weapons. But can be equipped with shields.
It does not boost attack strength - focus if you want to deal any serious damage.
Also, GMs are able to equip it even while armed, but they'll suffer an agi penalty.
This got spammy and buggy, so it is for GMs only from time begin.
PPS. Brawling is a non-canon combat style. Do not expect to be able to actually kill stuff with it.
Oh, but it probably will be fun. Tell me if it needs any other serious tweaks.

Add stuff which is missing from Doomsday + Valentine + St. Patrick Day.
Ammend the news.

This is part of Doomsday Event (Nov 2019 ~ Jul 2020)
This patch also adds a controller for these event spawns.
|
|
Also add AFK Cap for myself.
Note: Gumi Candy could use a more creative name.
Please suggest so on client-data instead, though.
Valentine Dress until today is "PlatynaRedDress" on server data.
ie. We are keeping this sort of reference on this repository.

“It should look like Luvia”
|
|
|
|
Even sheer luck might not be enough to make her drop something shiny, now.

Reference Poll: Topic 20799

Change her spawn rules. I hope this is still enjoyable and challenging;
But neither too easy nor too hard. They also poison more often.
|
|
Cap, Captain Cap.
If this is a problem we can remove it and update items.xml accordingly

* Tormenta
Tormenta is the ultimate boss for Halloween 2019, and she may rarely poison. Her defense is smaller, but not by much. She drops rares and gives 500,000 exp. Her spawns are more fierce. Her attack is stronger.
She spawns hourly at Hurnscald Farmlands, each time the minute reach zero; But there'll never be two Tormentas at once.
