Zielite is a rare mineral found on the surface of Gasaron.
It has uncommon properties and is extremely reactive to Mana energy.
Zielite is dark grey, with intense silvery highlights when exposed to light;
if imbued with Mana, it will also glow with a blue aura.
It is very strong and only melts under very high temperatures.
Zielite will naturally absorb Mana energy, but if overcharged it’s ability will reverse and it will begin to repel it instead.
Overcharged Zielite is lighter in colour and does not glow.

Soul Menhirs are large pieces of Zielite that have been carved and exposed to Mana in order to create a rich Mana source.
As Mana flows underneath the land, it would be impossible to cast spells without the influence of Menhirs,
which are capable of redirecting the energy towards the surface. 

Zielite can be made into other objects, but doing so requires much skill in both smithing and magic.
Objects made of Zielite are extremely valuable, especially if particularly complex or useful.
